INDICATIONS: Treatment of flea (_Ctenocephalides_ spp.) and tick
(_Dermacentor _
_reticulatus_) infestations. Insecticidal efficacy against new
infestations with adult fleas
persists for 8 weeks. The product has a persistent acaricidal efficacy
for up to 4 weeks
against ticks (_Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor
reticulatus_).
If ticks of some species (_Rhipicephalus sanguineus_ and _Ixodes
ricinus_) are present when
the product is applied, all the ticks may not be killed within the
first 48 hours but they
may be killed within a week. The product can be used as part of a
treatment strategy for
the control of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) where this has been
previously diagnosed by
a veterinary surgeon.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use on puppies less than 2 months old and
/or weighing
less than 2 kg in the absence of available data. Do not use on sick
(e.g. systemic diseases,
fever…) or convalescent animals. Do not use in rabbits, as adverse
reactions and even
death could occur. This product is specifically developed for dogs. Do
not use in cats, as
this could lead to overdosing

INDICAZIONI PER L’UTILIZZAZIONE SPECIFICANDO LE SPECIE DI
DESTINAZIONE
Per
il
trattamento
delle
infestazioni
da
pulci
(
Ctenocephalides
spp.)
e
zecche
(
Dermacentor
reticulatus
). L’efficacia insetticida contro nuove infezioni da pulci persiste
fino ad 8 settimane. Il
prodotto ha una persistente efficacia acaricida fino a 4 settimane
contro le zecche (
Rhipicephalus
sanguineus
,
Ixodes ricinus
,
Dermacentor reticulatus
). Se sono presenti le zecche di alcune specie
(
Rhipicephalus sanguineus
ed
Ixodes
ricinus
) quando si somministra il prodotto, non tutte le zecche
potrebbero essere uccise entro le 48 ore dalla prima applicazione ma
potrebbero essere uccise entro
una settimana.
Il prodotto può essere utilizzato come parte del trattamento
strategico per il controllo della Dermatite
Allergica
da
pulci
(DAP)
quando
questa
sia
stata
preventivamente
diagnosticata
dal
medico
veterinario.

CONTROINDICAZIONI
In mancanza di dati disponibili non utilizzare in cuccioli di età
inferiore ai 2 mesi o con peso inferiore ai
2 kg.
Non utilizzare su animali malati (i.e malattie sistemiche, febbre…)
o convalescenti.
Non utilizzare su conigli, poiché possono manifestarsi reazioni
avverse ed anche la morte.
Questo prodotto è specificamente sviluppato per i cani. Non usare in
gatti, poiché si potrebbero
verificare dei sovradosaggi.
Non usare in caso di ipersensibilità al principio attivo o ad uno
qualsiasi degli ecc
