DUOTIN L POUR-ON
Contains 10g/L abamectin, 200g/L levamisole, 530g/L
1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone.
For the treatment and control of internal parasites, including
endectocide
resistant strains, and lungworm in cattle. Abamectin is a member of
the
macrocyclic lactones. It is effective against internal and external
parasites
sensitive to this family. Levamisole is a member of the
imidazothiazole class of
anthelmintics with efficacy against internal parasites sensitive to
this family,
including lungworm.
INDICATIONS:
CATTLE: For the effective treatment and control of the following
species of
gastrointestinal worms, lice and lungworm.
GASTROINTESTINAL NEMATODES: For the treatment and control of the
following
mature and immature gastrointestinal parasites (*includes inhibited
fourth stage
larvae): _Ostertagia ostertagi*, Ostertagia lyrata*, Cooperia
oncophora*, Cooperia _
_surnabada*, Cooperia punctata*, Trichostrongylus longispicularis, _
_Trichostrongylus axei _and mature_ Trichuris._ DUOTIN L Pour-On is
also highly
effective in the treatment and control of mature and immature strains
of _Cooperia_
spp resistant to the endectocides (including eprinomectin and
doramectin).
Levamisole is also very active against susceptible
benzimidazole-resistant
strains.
LUNGWORMS: Adult and immature _Dictyocaulus viviparus_.
LICE: Treats and controls both _Linognathus vituli_ (sucking lice) and
_Damalinia _
_bovis_ (biting lice).
