1. TRADE NAME OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT
Canephron® N
2. QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION
1 Canephron® N, coated tablet contains pulverized drugs:
18 mg Herba Centaurii (common centaury herb) 18 mg Radix
Levistici radix (lovage root) 18 mg Folia Rosmarini (rosemary
leaves)
3. PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Coated tablets for oral use.
4. CLINICAL PARTICULARS
4.1 THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
The drug is used in multimodality therapy to treat chronic
inflammatory diseases of the urinary bladder
(cystitis) and kidney (pyelonephritis), occurrences of chronic
non-infectious diseases of the kidney
(glomerulonephritis, interstitial nephritis) and to resist the
formation of stones in the urinary system (as
well as after their removal).
4.2 POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Adults: 2 coated tablets 3 times a day.
School age children: 1 coated tablet 3 times a day.
Do not chew coated tablets. Swallow with liquid.
On account of its good tolerance the preparation is indicated for
long-term therapy.
Flushing therapy: take plenty of liquid.
4.3 CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients
of the drug.
Active peptic ulcers.

4.4 SPECIAL WARNINGS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
The use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended.
Before use of Canephron coated tablets a physician should be consulted
for risk-benefit evaluation
in case of
-
impaired renal function.

inflammatory diseases of the kidneys.
-
edema due to impaired heart or kidney function
.
In case of blood in urine, micturition disorder and acute urinary
retention a physician should be
consulted immediately.
