PER12065 Permit Version 2 Page 1 of 2 PERMIT TO ALLOW MINOR USE OF AN AGVET CHEMICAL PRODUCT FOR THE CONTROL OF WINGLESS GRASSHOPPER IN PASTURES AND NON-CROP AREAS PERMIT NUMBER - PER12065 This permit is issued to the Permit Holder in response to an application granted by the APVMA under section 112 of the Agvet Codes of the jurisdictions set out below. This permit allows a person, as stipulated below, to use the product in the manner specified in this permit in the designated jurisdictions. This permit also allows any person to claim that the product can be used in the manner specified in this permit. THIS PERMIT IS IN FORCE FROM 8 APRIL 2010 TO 31 MARCH 2020 PERMIT HOLDER: NSW DEPARTMENT OF PRIMARY INDUSTRIES 161 Kite Street ORANGE NSW 2800 PERSONS WHO CAN USE THE PRODUCT UNDER THIS PERMIT: Persons generally. PER12065 Permit Version 2 Page 2 of 2 CONDITIONS OF USE PRODUCTS TO BE USED: REGISTERED PRODUCTS CONTAINING: 440, 500 or 1150 g/L MALDISON as their only active constituent. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: SITUATION INSECT PEST RATE PASTURES & NON-CROP AREAS WINGLESS GRASSHOPPER (_Phaulacridium vittatum_) PRODUCTS CONTAINING 440 G/L MALDISON: 125 - 250 mL per 10-20 kg whole or kibbled grain or bran. PRODUCTS CONTAINING 500 G/L MALDISON: 110 - 220 mL per 10-20 kg whole or kibbled grain or bran. PRODUCTS CONTAINING 1150 G/L MALDISON: 50 - 100 mL per 10-20 kg whole or kibbled grain or bran. CRITICAL USE COMMENTS: Mix in a drum or cement mixer and bag and hold overnight before using. Apply after the 2 nd instar. Apply using a spreader to ground with little or no plant cover as a barrier treatment. Apply in a 2 m wide band at a rate of 200 - 400 g prepared bait per 100 m. Retreat every 3 days, depending on grashopper numbers. DO NOT apply more than three (3) times per season. WITHHOLDING PERIOD: DO NOT graze or cut treated areas for stock feed for 1 DAY following application. JURISDICTION: NSW only.
