Each tablet contains 120 mg/ PRADOFLOXACIN
Claims:
For dogs over 30 kg
For the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacterial
pathogens in skin and soft
tissues, urinary tract and gingiva and periodontal tissues in dogs.
In dogs pradofloxacin is indicated for infections of the:
•
skin and soft tissue caused by Staphylococcus intermedius group,
Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus canis.
•
urinary tract caused by Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus intermedius
group
(includes Staphylococcus pseudintermedius)
•
gingiva and periodontal tissues caused by Porphyromonas gingivalis and
Prevotella intermedia
Pradofloxacin is a synthetic drug from the class of the quinolone
carboxylic acid derivatives,
also known as fluoroquinolones.

antibiotic resistance.

Restraints:
DO NOT USE for any purpose, or in a manner, contrary to
this label RLP APPROVED
FOR USE ONLY in dogs which have responded poorly to other classes of
antimicrobials
and where culture and sensitivity testing indicates
no suitable alternatives.
Contraindications:
Pradofloxacin is contraindicated for administration to breeding
animals, including pregnant
and lactating dogs.
Do not use in dogs during the period of growth as developing articular
cartilage may
be affected. The period of growth depends on the breed. For the
majority of breeds
pradofloxacin containing products must not be used in dogs of less
than12 months of age;
in giant breeds less than 18 months.
Do not use in dogs with central nervous system disorders, such as
epilepsy, as
