EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine is metabolized by bacteria in the large intestine. It
enhances peristaltic
movement of the intestine to encourage defecation.
It is usually used in the treatment of constipation.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to
any medicines or foods.
If you are a patient with acute abdomen such as abdominal pain,
spastic constipation,
hardened feces or hypokalemia.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
dietary supplements
as well as other prescription medicines.)

・In general, for adults, take 0.15 to 0.3 g (12 to 24 mg of the
active ingredient) at a time,
once daily, before going to bed. In severe case of constipation, the
dose will be increased up
to 0.6 g (48 mg) at a time. The dosage may be adjusted according to
the age or symptoms.
