COPACAPS 5g capsules are ideally suited for use in calves, fawns and adult sheep. Each capsule contains 4.2g of elemental copper in the form of 5g of cupric oxide rods. Product : Copacaps 5g Date: 28 Oct 2022 ACVM No.: A004944 Page 2 of 5 SIDE PANEL ADMINISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS COPACAPS should be administered with one of the COPACAPS range of applicators. (Picture - Graphic) 1. To load, push the COPACAPS capsule fully into the nozzle of the gun. Do not leave the end of the capsule protruding. (Picture - Graphic) 2. Insert the gun into the front or the side of the mouth. Do not use undue force, or damage to the throat or larynx may result. (Picture - Graphic) 3. Position nozzle over the back of the tongue, then release the capsule by squeezing the trigger smoothly. Do not release the capsule in the front of the mouth. COPACAPS 5g capsules are ideally suited for use in calves, fawns and adult sheep. COPACAPS 5g capsules contain cupric oxide rods. After the capsule has dissolved, the rods are retained in the digestive tract, where they slowly release copper in a form which can be absorbed by the animal. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION To be administered orally: 1 x 5g capsule per 50kg liveweight. Use one of the COPACAPS range of applicators to administer the capsules (see administration instructions on the side panel of this carton). IMPORTANT 1. To avoid the risk of copper toxicity, liver copper levels should be assessed before use. 2. Copper toxicity may occur in animals affected by liver damage. CONTR Lestu allt skjalið
