EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine increases the secretion of mucous membrane in the
airway, and the enzyme in
the secretion dissolves acidic glycoprotein. Consequently, lung
surfactant secretion is
promoted and ciliary movement is enhanced. This loosens phlegm and
facilitates removal of
phlegm.
It is usually used for expectoration of acute bronchitis, chronic
bronchitis, pulmonary
tuberculosis, pneumoconiosis, and after surgery.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
