4 CLINICAL PARTICULARS
4.1 TARGET SPECIES
Cattle, sheep and pigs.
4.2 INDICATIONS FOR USE, SPECIFYING THE TARGET SPECIES
Treatment
of
superficial
traumatic or
surgical
wounds
contaminated with chlortetracycline-sensitive agents.
The
product can be used as part of a treatment for superficial skin and
claw infections, in particular interdigital dermatitis
(foot rot and foul in the foot) and digital dermatitis caused by
micro-organisms sensitive to chlortetracycline.
4.3 CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to tetracyclines. Do not use
in cases of known resistance to tetracyclines.
