The Vercise M8 Adapter is designed to connect the Medtronic Lead Extension to the Vercise IPG when a Medtronic deep brain stimulator is being revised. The previously implanted Medtronic lead, Medtronic lead extension and the connection remain intact. A set screw mechanism is provided to retain the Medtronic lead. The Vercise(TM) M8 Adapter is a 1x8 in-line connector that is designed to connect specific Medtronic(R)lead extensions to the Vercise Stimulator, as part of a deep brain stimulation procedure.
