4. FIRST AID MEASURES
POISON INFORMATION CENTRES IN EACH STATE CAPITAL CITY CAN PROVIDE
ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE (13 11 26).
INGESTION: Rinse mouth with water. If swallowed, induce vomiting,
preferably using Ipecac Syrup APF, and give
one atropine tablet every 5 minutes until dryness of the mouth occurs.
Seek immediate medical assistance.
EYE CONTACT: Irrigate with copious quantities of water for 15 minutes.
In all cases of eye contamination it is a
sensible precaution to seek medical advice.
