The Anti-M Mono- Type Dual and Anti-N (LN3/MN879) Mono-Type reagents are used for the detection of the M and N antigens on human red blood cells. Anti-M Mono- Type Dual and Anti-N (LN3/MN879) Mono-Type react with their respective antigens, causing agglutination of the red blood cells and classifying these cells into three distinct phenotypes: M+N-, M+N+ and M-N+.
