PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
DESCRIPTION: Yellowish brown colored cherry flavor syrupy liquid with
characteristic odor.
DOSAGE FORM:
Liquid Syrup
ACTIVE SUBSTANCE:
Dried Ivy Leaf (Hedera helix L.) Extract BP
PRESERVATIVE:
Potassium Sorbate BP

PRODUCT INDICATION/USAGE:
IVISPAN is traditionally used for reducing phlegm and relief of cough.
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE:
ADULT: 5 to 7.5mL three times a day
CHILDREN ≥ 6 YEARS TO < 18 YEARS: 5mL three times a day
CHILDREN
> 2 YEARS TO < 6 YEARS: 2.5mL three times a day
• Take this product with the enclosed measuring cup.
• Take one dose in the morning, at midday and in the evening.
• This product may be taken with or without food.
CONTRA-INDICATION:
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredient.
WARNING/PRECAUTIONS:
• This is a Traditional Medicine.
• Keep Out of Reach of Children.
• Jauhkan Daripada Capaian Kanak-Kanak.
• Shake Well Before Use.
•
Concomitant use with antitussives as codeine or dextromethorphan is
not recommended without medical advice.
•
Caution is recommended in patients with gastritis or gastric ulcer.
•
If dyspnoea, fever or purulent sputum occurs, a doctor or a pharmacist
should be consulted.
•
Not to be used for more than 2 weeks.
•
If the symptoms persist longer than a week during the use of the
medicinal product, a doctor or a qualified health care
practitioner should be consulted.
