Indikasi Terapi:

The mode of action of CARGEL has been shown in animal studies: ? It acts as a scaffold to physically stabilize the blood clot in the cartilage lesion ? It impedes blood clot retraction while allowing normal clotting to occur ? It adheres to the cartilage lesion surfaces due to chitosan?s cationic properties,thus improving implant residency. CARGEL is biodegradable through endogenous degrading enzymes and cells which results in its complete resorption from the implant site. CARGEL is a medical device intended to promote hyaline cartilage regeneration when used in conjunction with the bone marrow stimulation technique for the repair of focal articular cartilage lesions. Treatment with CARGEL should be performed by an orthopaedic surgeon.
