WHAT SHINALLERG EYE DROP
IS USED
FOR
It
is
used
to
relieve
allergic
reaction/symptoms
(eg.
redness,
swelling,
itching) in eye.
HOW SHINALLERG EYE DROP
WORKS
Antazoline
is
anti-histamine
which
provides relief of itching. Tetrahydrozoline
is a sympathomimetic which reduces redness
and swelling in the eyes. When both are used
together, they are able to relieve symptoms of
allergic eye disease effectively.
BEFORE YOU USE SHINALLERG EYE
DROP
_When you must not apply it_
_ _
If
you
are
allergic
to
antazoline
and/or
tetrahydrozoline or to any of the ingredients
of SHINALLERG EYE DROP. If you wear
contact
lenses,
they
should
be
removed
before instillation and not reinserted for at
least 15 minutes.
_Before you start to apply it_
_ _
Tell your doctor if :
-You
are
elderly
and
have
high
blood
pressure, a heart condition, a thyroid problem
or diabetes.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
-You suffer from dry eyes.
-You
have
an
adrenal
tumour
(phaeochromocytoma).
_Taking other medicines_
_ _
Concomitant use of SHINALLERG EYE
DROP with Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors
(MAOI) is prohibited. Tell your doctor if you
use any other eye drops.
HOW TO USE SHINALLERG EYE DROP
_How much to apply _
Apply 1 drop every three hours during the
acute phase, for maintenance therapy 1 drop
2-3 times per day is sufficient. 1-2 drops per
day are sufficient for children.
_When to apply it_
