QU’EST-CE QUE LEVOFLOXACIN EUGIA SOLUTION POUR PERFUSION ET DANS
QUEL CAS EST-IL UTILISÉ ?
Le nom de votre médicament est Levofloxacin Eugia solution pour
perfusion. Levofloxacin Eugia solution
pour perfusion contient une substance active appelée la
lévofloxacine. Elle appartient à un groupe de
médicaments appelés antibiotiques. La lévofloxacine est un
antibiotique de type « quinolone ». Elle agit en
tuant les bactéries responsables d’infections dans votre organisme.
LEVOFLOXACIN EUGIA SOLUTION POUR PERFUSION PEUT ÊTRE UTILISÉ POUR
TRAITER LES INFECTIONS DES:

Poumons, chez les personnes atteintes de pneumonie.

Voies urinaires, notamment au niveau de vos reins ou votre vessie.

Prostate, lorsque vous avez une infection qui dure.

Peau et tissus sous-cutanés, y compris les muscles. C’est ce que
l’on appelle parfois les « tissus mous ».

KWALITATIEVE EN KWANTITATIEVE SAMENSTELLING
Elke ml oplossing voor infusie bevat 5 mg levofloxacine (als
hemihydraat).
Elke 50 ml injectieflacon bevat 250 mg levofloxacine (als
hemihydraat).
Elke 100 ml injectieflacon bevat 500 mg levofloxacine (als
hemihydraat).
Hulpstoffen met bekend effect:
Elke 50 ml oplossing voor infusie bevat 7,7 mmol (177 mg) natrium.
Elke 100 ml oplossing voor infusie bevat 15,4 mmol (354 mg) natrium.

Heldere groen-geelachtige oplossing vrij van partikels met pH van 4,2
tot 5,5.

KLINISCHE GEGEVENS
4.1
THERAPEUTISCHE INDICATIES
Levofloxacin Eugia oplossing voor infusie is geïndiceerd bij
volwassenen voor de behandeling van de
volgende infecties (zie rubrieken 4.4 en 5.1):

Buiten het ziekenhuis opgelopen pneumonie;

Gecompliceerde infecties van de huid en de weke delen.
Voor de hierboven vermelde infecties mag Levofloxacin Eugia oplossing
voor infusie alleen gebruikt worden
indien het gebruik van de antibacteriële middelen die gewoonlijk
worden aanbevolen voor de initiële
behandeling van deze infecties, ongeschikt wordt geacht.

Acute pyelonefritis en gecompliceerde urineweginfecties (zie rubriek
4.4);

Chronische bacteriële prostatitis;

Inhalatie-anthrax: profylaxe na blootstelling en curatieve behandeling
(zie rubriek 4.4);
De officiële richtlijnen over het juiste gebruik van antibacteriële
middelen dienen in overweging te worden
genomen.
4.2
DOSERING EN WIJZE VAN TOEDIENING
Levofloxacin Eugia oplossing voor infusie wordt een- of tweemaal per
dag langzaam intraveneus
geïnfundeerd. De dosering is afhankelijk van het type en de ernst van
de infectie en van de gevoeligheid van
het vermoedelijk oorzakelijke pathogeen. Na het initieel gebruik van
het intraveneus preparaat mag de
