COMPOSITION:
Each dose of 0.5 ml of vaccine
contains:
- Inactivated Infectious Bronchitis
virus strain Massachusetts M41: 64
U.HI.
In oil emulsion
By law, the user must take due
care, obtaining expert advice when
necessary, to avoid unnecessary
pain and distress when using the
product other than as directed on
the label.
INDICATIONS
An aid in the reduction of egg drop
secondary to Infectious Bronchitis.
Duration of immunity shown to be at
least 44 weeks post vaccination in a
controlled challenge study.
DOSAGE AND
ADMINISTRATION
Inject intramuscularly (pectoral
muscles). Vaccination at 16-20
weeks of age before the laying
period. A first vaccination with
live vaccines against Infectious
Bronchitis is recommended.
WARNINGS
Let the vaccine reach the room
temperature (+20°C) before use.
Shake well before and during use.
After opening of the bottle the
product must be used within 10
hours. Only healthy birds should be
vaccinated. Do not use in birds in lay
and within 4 weeks before the onset
of the laying period.
A mild transient swelling may be
observed at the site of the injection
for approximately 2 weeks.
_TO THE USER:_ this product contains
mineral oil. Accidental injection/
self injection may result in severe
pain and swelling, particularly if
injected into a joint or finger, and
in rare cases could result in the
loss of the affected finger if prompt
medical attention is not given. If
you are accidentally injected with
this product, seek prompt medical
advice even if only a very small
amount is injected and take the
package leaflet with you. If pain
persists for more than 12 hours after
medical examination, seek medical
advice again.
_TO THE PHYSICIAN:_ this product
contains mineral oil. Even if small
amounts
have
been
injected,
accidental injection with this product
can cause intense swelling, which
may, for example result in ischaemic
necrosis and even the loss of a digit.
Expert PROMPT surgical attention
is required and may necessitate
early irrigation of the injected area,
especially when there is involveme
