WHAT DYNA-RH CAPSULE IS USED FOR
Indicated as an adjunctive therapy in
osteoarthritis (joint inflammation).
HOW DYNA-RH CAPSULE WORKS
Glucosamine Sulphate tackles the root
cause of osteoarthritis. It stimulates the
biosynthesis of essential components of
the cartilage substances. It also
improves viscosity and production of
fluid around the joint.
BEFORE YOU USE DYNA-RH CAPSULE

_When you must not use it _
Do not use DYNA-RH Capsule if you
are allergic to shellfish.
_Pregnancy and lactation _
Seek medical advice before initiating
the treatment.
Ask your doctor or pharmacists for
advice before taking DYNA-RH
Capsule.

Tell your doctor if you have
hypersensitivity to glucosamine and
other ingredients in this product.

HOW TO USE DYNA-RH CAPSULE

_How much to use _
Light to moderate osteoarthritis
symptoms: 2 capsules, twice daily for at
least 6 weeks.
Severe osteoarthritis symptoms:
Initial therapy: 2 capsules. Three times
daily for at least 8 weeks.
Follow-up therapy: Maintenance dose
of 2 capsules, twice daily for 3 to 4
months.
Long term treatment: Repeat every
other 6 months or less (or as prescribed)

PHARMACODYNAMICS:
Glucosamine Sulphate has the following therapeutic activities:
A. Stimulation of the biosynthesis of mucopolysaccharides
•
Which are the essential components of the cartilage substance.
B. Lubricant activity
•
Improvement of synovial fluid viscosity
•
Increase of synovial fluid production.
C. Relieves pain
•
Improves joint function
•
Inhibits the degeneration of joint function
PHARMACOKINETICS:
Glucosamine Sulphate is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract
(over 90%) and diffuses through the body, with a
particular tropism for the articular cartilage. The absolute
bioavailability of Glucosamine Sulphate was 26%, due to the first-pass
effect in the liver. Following oral administration, 10% was excreted
via the urine, whereas 11.3% via the faeces.
However, levels of Glucosamine Sulphate incorporated in plasma
proteins reached a peak after 8–10 hours and then declined,
exhibiting a half-life of 68 hours.
INDICATION:
As adjunctive therapy in osteoarthritis.
RECOMMENDED DOSE:
Light to moderate osteoarthritis symptoms:
2 capsules, twice daily for at least 6 weeks.
Severe osteoarthritis symptoms:
Initial therapy
: 2 capsules, three times daily for at least 8 weeks.
Follow-up therapy
: Maintenance dose of 2 capsules, twice daily for 3 – 4 months.
Long term treatment : Repeat every other 6 months or less (or as
prescribed).
Capsules should be taken 15 minutes before meals.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to Glucosamine.
PRECAUTIONS/WARNINGS:
Glucosamine Sulphate is a causal therapy and the therapeutic effect is
only seen after 1 week. Therefore, it is advisable to
include an anti-inflammatory drug (in case of severe pains) during the
first days of treatment with Glucosamine. The effect of
