EYE DROPS
CONTENTS:
1 ml of isotonic solution contains:
Timolol maleate
3.42 mg
Benzalkonium chloride
(preservative)
0.05 mg

Timolol maleate
6.84 mg
Benzalkonium chloride

Other ingredients: Monobasic sodium phosphate; dibasic sodium
phosphate;
water for injections
INDICATIONS:
Elevated intraocular pressure, chronic open-angle glaucoma, aphakic
glaucoma,
congenital glaucoma, if other therapeutic regimens are not sufficient.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with bronchial
hyperreactivity,
bronchial asthma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, sinus
bradycardia, second and third degree atrio-ventricular block, overt
cardiac
failure, cardiogenic shock, hypersensitivity to any component of this
product,
severe allergic rhinitis or nutritional disorders involving the
cornea.
Use in Pregnancy and Lactation:
No well-controlled studies in pregnant women exist. The expected
benefit has
to be balanced very carefully against possible risks by the physician.
Please
inform your physician if you are nursing, pregnant or planning a
pregnancy.
SIDE-EFFECTS:
Eyes:
Irritations of the eyes, such as conjunctivitis, blepharitis,
keratitis, impaired
vision, diplopia, ptosis and sensation of dryness of the eye.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USAGE:
Instill one drop, two times daily into the conjunctival sac.Unscrew
the cap
covering the nozzle. With the finger retract the lower lid until the
inner red,
moist surface is exposed. Tilt your head back, invert the bottle and
gently
squeeze out the prescribed number of drops into the conjunctival sac.
