WHAT WINTOSAL CREAM IS USED FOR
Wintosal
Cream
is
used
to
provide
temporary
relief
from
muscular
discomfort or soreness and rheumatic
aches and pains.
HOW WINTOSAL CREAM WORKS
This
medicine
contains
methyl
salicylate, menthol and camphor which
are
counterirritants,
producing
a
sensation
of
warmth
and/or
cold
to
provide temporary relief of pain.
BEFORE YOU USE WINTOSAL CREAM

Do not use this medicine:

if
you
are
allergic
to
salicylates
(e.g.
aspirin),
other
non-steroidal
anti-inflammatory
medicines
or
any
of
the
ingredients
in
this
medicine.

if you have any broken or irritated
skin

in children aged below 2 years

Tell your doctor if:
You are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do
not
use
this
medicine
without
first
consulting your doctor.

Taking
Wintosal
Cream
with
other
topical salicylates (painkillers) or blood
thinners (E.g. warfarin) may increase
your
chance
for
bleeding.
Symptoms
may include:

Gum bleeding

Nosebleeds

Unusual bruising

Red or orange urine

Severe headache

Coughing up blood

Blood in vomit

Dark/black/tarry stools
Other interactions not stated may occur.
