SOLUTION
Composition: Active Ingredients:
Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.5% W/V
Alcohol 70% V/V
Inactive Ingredients:
Sunset Yellow, Purified Water
Therapeutic group: Disinfectant.
Indications: For the disinfection of the skin,
and for the cleaning of babies umbilical cord
until detached.
When should the preparation not be used?
Do not use this medicine if you are sensitive
to any of its ingredients.
Do not use this medicine on brain tissue,
brain membrane or in the middle ear.
Warnings:
Do not use this medicine frequently, or for a
long period, without consulting a doctor.
If
you
are
sensitive
to
any
type
of
food
or
medicine,
inform
your
doctor
before
commencing treatment with this medicine. In
case of swelling developing at the wound or
if the wound is accompanied by fever, consult
your physician.
Do not light a cigarette and avoid exposure
TO FIRE UNTIL THE SOLUTION IS COMPLETELY DRY.
Side Effects:
In
addition
to
the
desired
effect
of
the
medicine,
adverse
reactions
may
occur
during the course of taking this medicine.
Effects that require special attention:
Local itching, rash or inflammation (which
were not present before using this medicine)
(rare): stop treatment and refer to your doctor.
In the event that you experience side effects
not mentioned in this leaflet, or if there is a
change in your general health, consult your
doctor immediately.
Adverse reactions in children and infants:
Parents
must
inform
the
attending
doctor
about
any
side
effect,
as
well
as
any
additional medicine being taken by the child.
