INDICATIONS:
Success has been reported in the use of
TYLAN
for the control of the following
disease conditions:
CATTLE:
Respiratory infections, Foot-rot (necrotic
pododermatitis), Calf diphtheria, Metritis,
Acute mastitis.
SHEEP AND GOATS:
The treatment of the early stages of the
peracute and acute forms of contagious
agalactia caused by _Mycoplasma _
_agalactiae _and caprine pleuropneumonia
caused by _Mycoplasma mycoides var Capri _
_(M. Capri). _
PIGS:
Swine dysentery and enteritis associated
with the presence of _Camp ylobacter coli _
and other organisms sensitive to Tylosin,
Swine Erysipelas, Pneumonia and Arthritis
due to Mycoplasma.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
DOSAGE:
CATTLE:
5 to 10 mg/kg body weight daily.
PIGS:
5 to 10 mg/kg body weight daily.
SHEEP AND GOATS:
10mg/kg body weight.

before use.

MAY CAUSE AN ALLERGIC SKIN REACTION
CAUSES EYE IRRITATION
Safety precautions and directions
Wear protective gloves. Wash hands
thoroughly after handling. Contaminated
clothing should not be allowed out of
the workplace. Wash contaminated
clothing before reuse.
First Aid
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water
for several minutes. Remove contact
lenses, if present and easy to do.
Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists,
get medical advice.
IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap
and water. If skin irritation or rash
occurs, get medical advice. For advice,
contact the National Poisons Centre
0800 POISON (0800 764766) or a doctor.
WITHHOLDING PERIODS:
IT IS AN OFFENCE FOR USERS OF THIS PRODUCT TO
CAUSE RESIDUES EXCEEDING THE RELEVANT MRL
IN THE NZ (MAXIMUM RESIDUES OF
AGRICULTURAL COMPOUNDS) FOOD STANDARD
MEAT:
Animals producing meat and offal for
human consumption must not be sold for
slaughter either during treatment or within
21 days of the last treatment.

Milk intended for sale for human
