MIStar is a software package that provides visualization and processing of medical images. It allows transfer of DICOM images over a medical imaging network with various sources (including but not limited to CT, MR, NM, PT and PACS). MIStar allows the analysis of dynamic images acquired with routine methods including the injection of a contrast agent. It extracts supplementary information from the raw images and presents them as parametric images to aid diagnosis and therapy monitoring.
