GENERAL INFORMATION: Neptune is a highly effective fungicide for the
control of primary and secondary powdery mildew on apples, field grown
pumpkin
and Winter squash. Neptune has contact, translaminar and vapour phase
modes of action, all of which contribute to its protectant and
eradicant properties.
Neptune is specific in its action against powdery mildew.
IT IS AN OFFENCE FOR USERS OF THIS PRODUCT TO CAUSE RESIDUES EXCEEDING
THE RELEVANT MRL IN THE FOOD NOTICE: MAXIMUM RESIDUE LEVELS FOR
AGRICULTURAL
COMPOUNDS.
WITHHOLDING PERIOD: Apples, field grown pumpkin and winter squash - 14
days. For apples grown for export consult your exporter for
withholding period
information.
COMPATIBILITY: May be tank mixed with most commonly used insecticides,
fungicides and calcium nitrate. Do not mix with very alkaline
materials.
APPLICATION: May be applied through all conventional orchard and boom
spraying equipment. Maintain agitation during mixing and spray
application. Use
spray solutions the same day.
RAINFALL: Rain within 6 hours following treatment may reduce
effectiveness.
IPM: Neptune is compatible with integrated pest management programmes
based on natural predators and parasites.
RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT: Neptune contains an hydroxy-(2-amino-)
pyrimidine fungicide with an inhibition of adenosine
deaminase in nucleic acid synthesis
