DO NOT USE on horses that may be used for human consumption.
Contraindications:
Precautions:
Use with caution as corticosteroids tend to decrease chemotactic
properties of phagocytes
and thus tend to decrease the efficacy of host defence mechanisms. Use
such drugs with
caution where severe tissue damage is present. Where an infective
process is suspected,
initiate concurrent antibacterial therapy. The administration of
corticosteroids has, during
the last trimester of pregnancy, been demonstrated to precipitate
premature parturition.

Use the contents within 24 hours of first broaching the vial. Discard
the unused portion. RLP APPROVED
Intramuscular or Subcutaneous Injection
Dogs and Cats: 0.1 to 0.2 mg/kg bodyweight
Horses: 12-20 mg
Intra-articular, intrasynovial Injection
Dogs and Cats: 1 to 3 mg
Horses: 6-18 mg
