In conjunction with teat spraying and proper management of the cow during the drying off period, the careful administration of Quadrant™ DC at drying off: reduces new infections at drying off and in the dry period treats subclinical mastitis that may be present at drying off helps reduce SCCs and mastitis in the subsequent lactation Quadrant™ DC treatment can be followed by administration of intramammary teat sealants Dryzen (A011639) for additional protection from new intramammary infections. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION Treat each cow immediately following its final milking for the season. Administration must not be delayed. When using dry cow preparations, care must be taken not to introduce infection into the udder. Clean teat thoroughly with cotton wool soaked in methylated spirit. Allow to dry.
