Important information for your review
• Warning: Mycophenolate causes miscarriages and birth defects. If
you are a woman who is able to
conceive, you need to undergo a pregnancy test with a negative result
before starting treatment and
follow the contraception advice given to you by the attending doctor.
• Your doctor will discuss with you, in particular, the effects of
mycophenolate on unborn babies. Please
study the information thoroughly and follow the instructions.
• Before taking the preparation, consult a doctor again if you did
not fully understand the instructions.

1. WHAT IS THE MEDICINE INTENDED FOR?
Mycophenolic acid Inovamed is given in combination with cyclosporine
and corticosteroids to prevent
graft rejection in adult kidney transplant recipients.
