DIRECTIONS FOR USE
High strength, true SPC (self-polishing copolymer) antifouling paint.
Up to two seasons
protection in high fouling areas. Patented SPC technology means Micron
99 works
effectively even when the boat is stationary and also produces a
smooth, low - drag
surface. As specified on many of the world's superyachts.
PREPARATION
Note that when preparing surfaces, Pressure Water Blasting and
Abrasive Grit Blasting
should only be conducted if appropriate screening and containment is
available.
Previously Antifouled Surface: In good condition, wash thoroughly
with fresh water then wet sand to remove all leached layer and other
contaminants. Allow to dry. If old antifouling paint is incompatible
or
unknown, seal with Primocon. In poor condition, remove.
PRIMING
Bare GRP: Interprotect or Primocon.
Steel/Iron: Interprotect or Primocon.
Lead: Interprotect or Primocon.
Wood: Interprotect or Primocon. Refer to data sheet for more
detail.
