Date of revision WHAT IBERET® IS USED FOR Iberet® is used for anemia due to iron deficiency, megaloblastic anemia (associated deficiency of Vitamin C and Vitamin B-Complex) particularly in pregnancy. HOW IBERET® WORKS Iberet® provides the body essential substance that is required to produce red blood cells such as iron and folic acid. If you do not have the right amount of these substances it is possible that you may develop anaemia. BEFORE YOU USE IBERET® _- When you must not use it_ Do not take Iberet® if: • You are allergic (hypersensitive) to iron / folic acid or any of the other ingredients of Iberet® • You have blood disorder (such as thalassemia) Do not use Iberet® if any of the above applies to you. It should not be used in pediatric individuals. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. _- Before you start to use it _ Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Iberet® if you suffer from any medical conditions or illnesses, in particular: • if you have blood disorders _- Taking other medicines _ It is particularly important to tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines. This also concerns medicines obtained without a prescription including herbal medicines.
