GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
All entrances to the fumigated area must be placarded with “DANGER,
area under fumigation, DO NOT ENTER, unless
wearing appropriate personal protective equipment”.
Mechanical ventilation to an external exhaust system is to be
installed in all potential leak areas. Feed lines/pipes must be
regularly cleaned and maintained.
The treated storage area should be equipped with a suitable system for
monitoring air levels of CO
2
. A time-weighted average
exposure standard of 100 ppm ethyl formate and 5000 ppm CO
2
should not be exceeded over an 8-hour work period.
Monitoring the levels of ethyl formate and CO
2
should be carried out in treated areas and in areas.

may be subject to specific resistance management strategies. For

Draslovka representative or local agricultural department agronomist.
APPLICATION SYSTEM
eFUME

is vaporised into an enclosed gastight fumigation space to allow the
fumigant to penetrate deep into the commodity
being treated for the recommended exposure time period. Only

equipment can be used with eFUME
