Product name: ADIZEM – XL Capsules 120, 180, and 240 mg.
COMPOSITION:
Active ingredients:
Diltiazem Hydrochloride Ph Eur (120mg, 180, or 240mg/capsules).
Excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose, Ethylcelllulose N10, Colloidal
Anhydrous Silica, Polysorbate 80, Dibutyl Sebacate, Erythrosine
(E127), iron
oxide (172), Indigo carmine (E132), Titanium dioxide (E171), Sodium
dodecysulphate, Gelatin. The capsules are printed with ink containing
the
following: Shellac, 2-ethoxyethanol, Titanium dioxide (E171), Soya
lecithin,
Dimeticone.
Pharmaceutical Form: Prolonged release capsules.
DESCRIPTION:
ADIZEM-XL Capsules 120mg are size 3 hard gelatine capsules, with pale
pink bodies and navy blue caps, marked “ DCR 120”.
ADIZEM-XL Capsules 180mg are size 2 hard gelatine capsules, with dark
pink bodies and royal blue caps, marked “DCR 180”.
ADIZEM-XL Capsules 240mg are size 1 hard gelatine capsules, with dark
red
bodies and blue caps, marked “DCR 240.”
Capsules are disposed in PVdC/PVC blister pack with 20κm hard
tempered
aluminium backing foil (10 capsules) in a printed carton. Each printed
carton
contains 20 capsules (2 blisters of 10).
