The LMA Supreme™ is intended for use in achieving and maintaining control of the airway during routine anaesthesia (fasted patients) and when tracheal intubation fails in non fasted patients during anaesthetic procedures. It is also intended for use in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) procedures as well as in the ‘failed intubation’ and the ‘cannot-intubate-cannot-ventilate’ situation.
