General Instructions: GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS This product is specially formulated for prevention of sprouting in stored potatoes. It is designed to be vaporised through appropriate fogging equipment. Seal all vents and doors in storage shed. It is important to ensure that treatment shed is thoroughly sealed and fully airtight. Keep storage area sealed for 24 hours, then open shed to allow free air movement. It is recommended that the shed is aired for 24 hours before re-entering. Tato-Pellets Potato Stop Sprout Approved: 19 January 2019 Box APVMA APPROVAL NO.: 66862/118082 DIRECTIONS FOR USE RESTRAINTS DO NOT treat wet, damaged or rotting potatoes. DO NOT treat after sprouting has developed. DO NOT use on or near seed potatoes. CROP RATE CRITICAL COMMENTS Stored Table Potatoes Up to 3 kg per 100 tonnes potatoes. A 4.5 kg bag of pellets treats 150 tonnes of potatoes. A 5 kg bag of pellets treats 167 tonnes of potatoes. Place the required amount of pellets into appropriate fogging equipment for application into the sealed storage shed. Application rate will depend upon: variety of potatoes, storage conditions and the desired length of storage. Retreatment may be necessary. It is recommended to monitor chlorpropham levels and if residue levels fall below the critical level of 25 ppm, topping up may be required. Treatment with Tato-Pellets Potato Stop Sprout must be managed so that potatoes removed from storage and sent for processing contain less than 30 mg/kg chlorpropham.
