WHAT SOMIN TABLET 2MG IS USED FOR
Somin Tablet 2mg is used to relieve
symptoms of red, itchy, watery eyes;
sneezing;
itchy
nose
or
throat;
and
runny
nose
caused
by
allergies,
hay
fever or common cold. It is used to
relieve allergic reactions to blood or
plasma
and
treat
urticaria,
a
skin
condition characterized by symptoms of
swelling, redness and itching. It is also
used
as
an
adjunctive
treatment
for
anaphylactic
reaction
controlled
by
Epinephrine
and
other
standard
measures.
HOW SOMIN TABLET 2MG WORKS
Somin Tablet 2mg is an antihistamine
with anticholinergic properties. It works
by blocking the action of histamines,
biological substances in the body that
produces
symptoms
of
sneezing,
itching, watery eyes and runny nose.
BEFORE YOU USE SOMIN TABLET 2MG

_When you must not use it _
You must not take Somin Tablet 2mg if
you
are
allergic
to
Dexchlorpheniramine
Maleate.
The
signs of an allergic reaction can include
hives, difficulty breathing and swelling
of lips, tongue, throat or face.

_Before you start to use it _
Consult
doctor
and
pharmacist
regarding the consumption of Somin
Tablet
2mg
for
pregnant
or
breastfeeding
women,
acute
asthma
patients,
premature
infants
and
neonates.
Tell doctor or pharmacist if you are
allergic to any other medicines or you
have any other health related problems
such as:
•
Narrow angle glaucoma (build-up
of pressure inside the eye)
•
Urinary retention
•
Prostatic hypertrophy (enlargement
of the prostate gland)
•
History of bronchial asthma
•
Hyperthyroidism (a raised level of
thyroid hormone)
•
Cardiovascular (heart) d
