medicine
The format of this leaflet was determined by the Ministry
of Health and its content was checked and approved by it in 07/2011

Ointment
Composition: Salicylic Acid 3%
Inactive
Ingredients:
Paraffin
liquid,
Hard
Paraffin,
Propylene
Glycol, Vaseline, Olive Oil, Lanolin, Hard Fat, Sodium EDTA.
Indication: This medicine is indicated as a topical aid in the removal
of
excessive
keratin
in
hyperkeratotic
skin
disorders,
including
dandruff, keratosis palmaris and plantaris, psoriasis - keratin of
scalp, hands, legs and elbows.
Therapeutic group: Keratolytic from salicylic group.
When Should The Preparation Not Be Used?
Do not use this medicine if you are sensitive to any of its
ingredients.
Do not take this medicine without consulting a doctor before
starting treatment:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
If you are suffering. or have suffered in the past, from impaired
function of the circulatory system or diabetes mellitus.
In case of inflammation, irritation, or infection of the skin.
Warnings: Do not use this medicine frequently, or for a long period,
without consulting a doctor.
Do not use on open wounds or cuts. Do not use on large surface of
the skin without consulting a doctor.
If you are sensitive to any type of food or medicine, inform your
doctor before commencing treatment with this medicine.
Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth or other mucous membranes.
If contact occurs flush with a lot of water.
Do not use occlusive dressing unless directed by the physician.
Do not use on moles, birthmarks and hairy warts.
Drug Interactions: If you are taking another drug concomitantly
or if you have just finished treatment with another medicine inform
the attending doctor, in order to prevent hazards or lack of efficacy
arising from drug interactions.
Do not simultaneously use (at same site, time) with other preparations
containing peel
