DIRECTIONS FOR USE
BY LAW THE USER MUST TAKE DUE CARE, OBTAINING EXPERT ADVICE WHEN
NECESSARY, TO AVOID
UNNECESSARY PAIN AND DISTRESS WHEN USING THE PRODUCT OTHER THAN AS
DIRECTED ON THE LABEL.
Rumenox is for use with metered in-line water dispensing and power
drenching systems. It is not
recommended for individual trough dispensers.
Recommended Use Rate: 1 GRAM OF RUMENOX PER COW PER DAY. THIS PRODUCT MUST NOT BE USED IN
RUMINANTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF GROWTH PROMOTION IN RUMINANTS INTENDED
FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
TROUGH TREATMENT:
Measure out the required amount of Rumenox. Pour directly into an
agitated dispenser solution tank after
any other ingredients have been added and thoroughly mixed. Thoroughly
mix again. Use continuous
agitation.
IMPORTANT: THE DISPENSER MUST BE CALIBRATED TO ENSURE THE TOTAL
CONTENTS OF THE SOLUTION TANK
ARE EMPTIED EVERY DAY INTO THE WATERING SYSTEM.
POWER DRENCHING:
Measure out the required dose based on 1 gram per cow per day. Pour
into the drench reservoir while the
pump is running. Rumenox may be drenched once or twice daily. During
severe bloat challenge drench
twice a day, and consider supplementation with a conventional bloat
drench.
Example for once daily drenching. If treating 300 cows with a drench
volume of 100ml each; add 300
grams of Rumenox to 30 litres of drench mix.
