PACIFIC CTC 15% W/W GRANULE ACTIVE SUBSTANCE & STRENGTH: Each 1 kg contains: 150 grams of Chlortetracycline Hydrochloride PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Brown to dark brown granule, not lumpy or moldy, no unpleasant odor. PHARMACODYNAMICS: Chlortetracycline is a natural broad-spectrum antibiotic of the tetracycline group. In-feed dosing provides steady to near steady state plasma levels. This provides effective concentrations in various tissues, including lungs and other respiratory tissues. The major metabolite is 4-epi-chlortetracycline. ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Oral RECOMMENDED DOSE: Chickens: 1) Control of infectious synovitis caused by Mycoplasma synoviae susceptible to chlortetracycline, 110-220 grams per tonne of feed continuously for 7 to 14 days. 2) Control of chronic respiratory disease and air sac infection caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Escherichia coli susceptible to chlortetracycline, 220-440 grams per tonne of feed continuously for 7 to 14 days. 3) Reduction of mortality due to Escherichia coli infections susceptible to chlortetracycline, 550 grams per tonne of feed, for 5 days. Swine: 1) Control of porcine proliferative enteropathies (ileitis) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis susceptible to chlortetracycline, 22 milligrams per kg of body weight per day, not more than 14 days. 2) Treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by Escherichia coli and Salmonella choleraesuis and bacterial pneumonia caused by Pasteurella multocida susceptible to chlortetracycline, 22 milligrams per kg of body weight per day. Feed approximately 440 g/tonne, varying with body weight and feed consumption to provide 22 mg/kg per day, not more than 14 days. 3) Reduction in the incidence of cervical lymphadenitis (jowl abscesses) caused by grou पूरा दस्तावेज़ पढ़ें
