What Dermorub Liniment Muscle
& Joint is used for
Dermorub Liniment Muscle & Joint is
used for the relief of aches and pains
including rheumatism, arthritis,
backache, bruises, sprains and strains
due to sports injuries.
How Dermorub Liniment Muscle &
Joint works
Dermorub Liniment Muscle & Joint
contains Methyl Salicylate which
having analgesic and rubefacient
effects. It increases blood flow,
provide feeling of warmth and gives
rapid relief of aches and pains.
Before you use Dermorub Liniment
Muscle & Joint
- When you must not take it
Do not take if you are hypersensitivity
to Methyl Salicylate or any other
ingredients in this product.
- Before you start to use it
Do not apply onto open wounds.
As this preparation contains benzyl
alcohol, its use should be avoided in
children under 2 years of age.
Not to be used in neonates.
- Taking other medicines
For patients taking Warfarin,
excessive application onto the skin for
muscular or joint pains may increase the
chances of bleeding.
How to take Dermorub Liniment Muscle
& Joint
- How much to take
Rub a small amount of medicated liniment
onto the affected area and massage gently
for 1 minute.
- When to take it
Use when required.
- How long to take it
Repeat 2 to 3 times a day or reapply as
needed for continued relief.
- If you forget to take it
If you forget to take Dermorub Liniment
Muscle & Joint, take it as soon as you
remember.
- If you take too much (overdose)
Overdose is unlikely occur. In the event of
accidental ingestion, the patient should be
sent to the nearest hospital for medical
