FOR USE IN CATTLE AND LAMB FEEDS
INDICATIONS
A. For improved feed efficiency and increased rate of weight gain in
feedlot cattle being fed in confinement
for slaughter.
B. For increased rate of weight gain in pasture cattle (stocker,
feeder cattle, and beef and dairy replacement
heifers).
C. As an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis caused by _Eimeria
bovis_ and _Eimeria zuernii_ in calves up to
360 kg of body weight being fed in confinement.
D. As an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis caused by _Eimeria
ovinoidalis_ (_syn. ninakohlyakimovae_) and
_Eimeria ovina_ in lambs fed in confinement.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
INDICATION A. For improved feed efficiency and increased rate of
weight gain in feedlot cattle being fed in
confinement for slaughter.
MIXING DIRECTIONS
LEVEL OF DRUG IN COMPLETE DIET
Thoroughly mix 180 g (0.18 kg) Bovatec
®
20 Medicated Premix in 1 tonne (1,000 kg) 100% dry
matter basis of diet (including roughage) to provide 36 mg of
lasalocid sodium per kg.
LEVEL OF DRUG IN SUPPLEMENTS
Supplements must provide an average daily intake as follows:
Thoroughly mix the supplement in the total daily diet or in the
complete feed (grain portion of the ration)
before use.
FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Feed continuously until market weight.
INDICATION B. For increased rate of weight gain in pasture cattle
(stocker, feeder cattle, and beef and dairy
replacement heifers).
HAND FED
Hand feed continuously at the rate of 200 mg of lasalocid
sodium/animal/day from the beginning to end of
the pasture season. To ensure equal accessibility for cattle, feed a
