APIVAR 500 MG BEE HIVE STRIPS FOR HONEY BEES contains amitraz, a member of the formamidine family. It is effective against sensitive strains of varroa mites ( Varroa destructor ). Resistance may develop to any chemical. Net Contents: 10 strips 12 strips 60 strips Directions for Use: Restraints: DO NOT USE during honey flow or while honey supers are present. DO NOT harvest honey when the treatment is in place. Honey if produced or harvested while the treatment is in place must not be made available for human consumption. HONEYCOMB/PROPOLIS/ROYAL JELLY: DO NOT make honeycomb, propolis, royal jelly from treated bees or hives available for human consumption.
