Just before milking, sanitise milking machine, cooler, bulk vat and other utensils using a 1:800 dilution of SAN-I-O in water by adding 32mL SAN-I-O to 25 litres of cold water. 2. Immediately after milking, without breaking the vacuum, flush machine and all utensils with RUA-RINSA non-ionic rinse solution. 3. Again without breaking the vacuum, flush or circulate with a hot water solution of RUA-KLENZA ALKALI DETERGENT at 60-70°C. (Use NO-FOME grade for recirculation machines). DO NOT USE IODOPHOR DIPS FOR TEAT CUPS DURING MILKING. NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE, OR IN ANY MANNER, CONTRARY TO THIS LABEL UNLESS AUTHORISED UNDER APPROPRIATE LEGISLATION. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Do not mix with detergents and other chemicals. Diluted solutions of SAN-I-O should be used once only and the unused portion discarded. PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT: DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used containers. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well- ventilated area out of direct sunlight. Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to prepared SAN-I-O solution. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. If recycling, replace cap and return clean containers to recycler or designated collection point. If not recycling, break, crush or puncture and bury empty containers in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is available, bury the containers below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots.
