ACTION:
PYthon
®
Ear Tags are a sustained release insecticidal treatment containing the
selected active form of
zetacypermethrin (cypermethrin S-enantiomers), synergised with
piperonyl butoxide. Grooming actions
of the treated animal transfer the active ingredients into the oils of
the coat, where they act as a contact
insecticide. Some activity can be transferred between deer or cattle
in the one herd. There is virtually no
absorption into tissues.
INDICATIONS:
For the control of New Zealand Cattle Tick (_Haemaphysalis
longicornis_) infestation on deer and cattle and
Nuisance Fly on cattle (including beef and lactating dairy cows).
