WHAT MENTAR SHAMPOO
IS USED FOR
MENTAR SHAMPOO is
indicated for the control of
dandruff and psoriasis (raised,
rough, reddened areas covered
with dry, fine silvery scales) on
the scalp.
HOW MENTAR SHAMPOO
WORKS
MENTAR SHAMPOO reduces
excess secretion of sebum) and
relieve itching. After the
corticosteroids, coal tars are the
most powerful agents against
most long-term cases of eczema.
It is also effective against
psoriasis in its own right.
It contains the following active
ingredients:
Coal tar – It belongs to a class of
medicines known as
keratoplastics (promoting
thickening of skin layer). It
works by causing the skin to
shed dead cells from its top layer
and slow down the growth of
skin cells. This effect decreases
scaling and dryness. It also
decreases itchiness from these
skin condition.
Menthol - added to relieve
itchiness and the detergents in
the formulation loosen and
soften scales and crusts.
