Follow recommended parasite management practices to reduce the
potential
for resistance to develop. Check accuracy of pour-on applicator
regularly.
A representative sample of animals should be weighed before treatment.
Dose rate to be based on heaviest cattle in each group (bulls, cows,
steers,
calves etc.). Do not under-dose. Where there is a large variation in
size within
the group, draft into two or more lines based on bodyweight, to avoid
excessive
overdosing. Ready to use with standard pour-on equipment.
Apply along the backline from shoulders to tail.
HORIZON ABAMEC POUR-ON is rainfast, even if rain falls 2 hours or more
after
treatment.
DOSAGE
It is strongly recommended not to use this product in cattle under
four months
of age and/or 100kg liveweight.
The dose rate for cattle is 500 µg Abamectin per kg bodyweight, which
is
provided by 1 mL HORIZON ABAMEC POUR ON for Cattle per 20 kg
bodyweight,
or according to the table:

skin
allergy. Abamectin may possibly affect development and/or reproduction
and
may have effects on/or via lactation. Diethylene glycol monobutyl
ether may
possibly affect kidney if swallowed and liver if inhaled. Wash hands
and
exposed skin before meals and after use. Do not eat, drink or smoke
when
using this product. Do not inhale vapor. Avoid skin and eye contact.
