The operation of KLF(MD) Blast Freezers is restricted to the intended use of freezing human blood and blood components in respect to statutory specifications, i.e. achieving a product (plasma bags) core temperature of -30°C within 1hour during the freezing process. The resulting end product (FFP – fresh frozen plasma) is dedicated for the therapeutic use, e.g. administration to the patient.
