Nitroglycerin is indicated for: 1. Control of hypertension during cardiac surgery. 2. Unresponsive congestive heart failure associated with acute myocardial infarction. 3. Treatment of anginal pectoris in hospitalised patients who have not responded to organic nitrates and/or beta blockers. 4. Maintenance of controlles hypotension during surgical procedurs.
