Otocleanse (A7514) 10 February 2021 Label Text 1 FOR ANIMAL TREATMENT ONLY OTOCLEANSE Skin and Ear Cleansing Solution 100 mL [250 mL] Net READ THE ENTIRE LABEL BEFORE USING USE ACTIVE INGREDIENTS PROPYLENE GLYCOL 415.2 mg/mL MALIC ACID 22.5 mg/mL BENZOIC ACID 1.5 mg/mL SALICYLIC ACID 0.37 mg/mL INDICATIONS For use as an aid in the prevention and treatment of otitis externa, wounds and abrasions, when healing is impaired by the presence of necrotic tissue, debris, or wax, in horses, dogs and cats. BY LAW THE USER MUST TAKE DUE CARE, OBTAINING EXPERT ADVICE WHEN NECESSARY, TO AVOID UNNECESSARY PAIN AND DISTRESS WHEN USING THE PRODUCT OTHER THAN AS DIRECTED ON THE LABEL. DIRECTIONS FOR USE For topical use only. WOUNDS: Apply liberally to clean the wound. Repeat application 2 to 3 times daily as necessary. Do not apply near eyes or mucous membranes. EARS: Routine cleaning: Instil liberally into the ear canal. Massage base of ear to loosen wax. Repeat as required. OTITIS EXTERNA: Follow routine cleaning directions, repeating 1 to 3 times daily for several days or as directed by a veterinarian. ADVERSE EFFECTS Localised stinging may occur on application; if irritation persists, consult your veterinarian. WITHHOLDING PERIOD Nil IT IS AN OFFENCE FOR USERS OF THIS PRODUCT TO CAUSE RESIDUES EXCEEDING THE RELEVANT MRL IN THE FOOD NOTICE: MAXIMUM RESIDUE LEVELS FOR AGRICULTURAL COMPOUNDS. PRECAUTIONS To rule out the possibility of ear problems that may be due to presence of grass seeds, etc, it is important to obtain the correct diagnosis from a veterinarian before using this product.
