WHAT DISUF-H CREAM IS USED FOR
Disuf-H
Cream
is
indicated
in
conditions where the skin is inflamed
(dermatitis) and infected by bacteria.
HOW DISUF-H CREAM WORKS
This medicine contains fusidic acid and
hydrocortisone
acetate
as
the
active
ingredients. Fusidic acid is a type of
antibiotic that works by inhibiting or
killing
bacteria
that
cause
infections.
Hydrocortisone
acetate
is
a
steroid
reducing
inflammation,
any
swelling,
redness or itchiness of your skin.
BEFORE YOU USE DISUF-H CREAM
_- When you must not use it _

Do not take Disuf-H Cream:
•
If you are allergic to fusidic acid,
hydrocortisone
acetate
or
any
of
the ingredients listed at the end of
this leaflet.
•
To treat skin conditions called acne
rosacea (redness and swelling over
the nose, cheeks, chin and forehead)
•
To
treat
skin
conditions
called
perioral dermatitis (skin rash with
tiny red bumps around the mouth).
•
To treat skin conditions caused by
virus
(such
as
chickenpox),
bacteria
only
(such
as
TB
and
syphilis)
and
fungus
(such
as
athlete’s foot)
If you are not sure whether you should
start taking this medicine, talk to your
pharmacist or doctor.

_- Before you start to use it _
Ask
your
doctor
or
pharmacist
for
advice before using Disuf-H Cream if:
•
you
are
pregnant,
think
you
are
pregnant. You must not use this
medicine for a long time or in large
amounts.
•
you are breastfeeding
•
you have tuberculosis of the skin
