EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine inhibits metabolism of acetaldehyde mainly produced by
alcohol metabolism in
the liver and induces unpleasant symptoms such as nausea.
It is usually used for anti-alcohol therapy for chronic alcoholism and
overdrinkers.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
・If you have cardiac disorder, liver disorder, renal disorder, or
respiratory disorder.
・If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
