Abevmy in combination with fluoropyrimidine-based chemotherapy is indicated for treatment of adult patients with metastatic carcinoma of the colon or rectum. Abevmy in combination with paclitaxel is indicated for first-line treatment of adult patients with metastatic breast cancer. Abevmy, in combination with erlotinib, is indicated for first-line treatment of adult patients with unresectable advanced, metastatic or recurrent non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer with Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) activating mutations (see section 5. Abevmy in combination with interferon alfa-2a is indicated for first line treatment of adult patients with advanced and/or metastatic renal cell cancer. Abevmy, in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel is indicated for the front-line treatment of adult patients with advanced (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics [FIGO] stages III B, III C and IV) epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer (see section 5. Abevmy, in combination with carboplatin and gemcitabine or in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel, is indicated for treatment of adult patients with first recurrence of platinum-sensitive epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube or primary peritoneal cancer who have not received prior therapy with bevacizumab or other VEGF inhibitors or VEGF receptor–targeted agents. Abevmy in combination with paclitaxel, topotecan, or pegylated liposomal doxorubicin is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with platinum-resistant recurrent epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer who received no more than two prior chemotherapy regimens and who have not received prior therapy with bevacizumab or other VEGF inhibitors or VEGF receptor–targeted agents (see section 5. QU’EST-CE QU’ABEVMY ET DANS QUEL CAS EST-IL UTILISÉ La substance active d’Abevmy est un anticorps monoclonal humanisé (qui est un type de protéine normalement fabriqué par le système immunitaire pour aider l’organisme à se défendre contre les infections et les cancers), le bevacizumab. Le bevacizumab se lie sélectivement à une protéine appelée facteur de croissance endothélial vasculaire humain (VEGF) qui est présente dans le revêtement intérieur des vaisseaux sanguins et lymphatiques. La protéine VEGF induit la croissance des vaisseaux sanguins dans les tumeurs. Ces vaisseaux apportent l’oxygène et les nutriments nécessaires aux tumeurs. DÉNOMINATION DU MÉDICAMENT Abevmy 25 mg/mL solution à diluer pour perfusion. 2. COMPOSITION QUALITATIVE ET QUANTITATIVE Chaque mL de solution à diluer contient 25 mg de bevacizumab*. Chaque flacon de 4 mL contient 100 mg de bevacizumab. Chaque flacon de 16 mL contient 400 mg de bevacizumab. Pour la dilution et autres recommandations de manipulation, voir rubrique 6.6. *Bevacizumab est un anticorps monoclonal humanisé recombinant produit par la technologie de l’ADN recombinant dans des cellules d’ovaire de Hamster Chinois. FORME PHARMACEUTIQUE Solution à diluer pour perfusion (solution à diluer stérile). Liquide limpide à légèrement opalescent, incolore à brun pâle avec un pH de 5,70 à 6,40, une osmolalité de 0,251 – 0,311 Osmol/kg et exempt de particules visibles. 4. INFORMATIONS CLINIQUES 4.1 INDICATIONS THÉRAPEUTIQUES Abevmy en association à une chimiothérapie à base de fluoropyrimidine, est indiqué chez les patients adultes atteints de cancer colorectal métastatique. Abevmy en association au paclitaxel, est indiqué en traitement de première ligne, chez des patients adultes atteints de cancer du sein métastatique.
